Office 2003 SP1

First update pack for Office 2003.

The first Service Pack for the excellent Microsoft Office 2003 office suite, thanks to which we will gain in security and features. Like it normally happens with the launching of a Service Pack, the Microsoft product affected by it receive major improvements.

  Microsoft Office is the most used office suite over the years and through its many editions, since it was first launched in 1990, including some applications that have set general standards, like Word as a word processing application, Excel to work with spreadsheets or Powerpoint for presentations. Over the years these applications where complemented with Microsoft Outlook, a very powerful e-mail and task manager. And in it's professional edition with Access a relational database management system, among others.

  Office 2003 SP1 is an essential update for Microsoft Office 2003, because it installs three previously released updates for Word (KB830000), Excel (KB834691) and the full suite (KB828041), as well as quite a few new updates and features, like the Anti-Phishing filter for Outlook and performance improvements. The application that forms part of the suite that receives more updates with this Service Pack 1 is without doubt Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003.

  Requirements: To install this Service Pack it is necessary to have Microsoft Office 2003 installed.
